Theater is my Church. It where I gather with my peers, confess my sins and seek testimony. The congregation is filled with people from all walks of life and the sermons are written by my artistic ancestors and colleagues.
With this philosophy as my foundation, I seek to create meaningful works of art that center on our human desire for communal experience and accentuate the ever-present moment between audience and story teller in order to exercise our capacity for empathy.

medea: re-versed
by luis quintero
An gritty, high-octane adaptation of Euripides' play, Medea. Written in battle rap verse, this brand new hip-hopera sheds light on an ancient tragedy. Reigniting the sacred rage of our ancestors, Medea: Re-Versed explores the destruction that comes when a society suppresses and silences women.
